Back in the Dark Ages – you know, before case management software was available for law firms – it was a real pain to find anything; it usually meant searching through paper folders (if you could find them ), or rummaging through siloed data online. It’s much better now. But, even with traditional versions of law practice management software, while I could find what I needed more easily – if I hadn’t stepped into (metaphorically) that case file in a while , I still had to go through the process of bringing myself up to speed, which is a lways a bummer. It’s much better now, though – because artificial intelligence is phenomenal at collating and summarizing large sets of data . Mix it into your case management software, and it’s like you never left the file. At this point, most vendors are starting to load basic AI features into their base platforms, rather than making those part of premium versions of the software ....
