Real Conversation: Moving Beyond AI Chatbots

You know, everybody’s into generative artificial intelligence chatbots these days – my mom used one to explain an estate planning concept she was trying to articulate to me the other day, haha.

But, if that’s the only place you’ve gone with AI, thus far – it’s time to expand your horizons.

The first place to look for new AI is in the products you already use.

Your productivity software (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) has both a generative AI product (Microsoft CoPilot or Google Gemini) and an AI overlay tool – Microsoft 365 CoPilot and Google Duet.

But, so does your case management softwareIf it’s Clio Manage, you’ve got DuoFileVine has lots of AI features available, too - as do most other programs, at some level.

You guessed it, so does your accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero), as well as your customer relationship management (CRM) software (Lawmatics, Salesforce, HubSpot).

There are also a bunch of standalone AI tools, which you can find at aggregation sites like Futurepedia.io and TheresAnAIForThat.

Generative AI chatbots are only a small part of the artificial intelligence landscape; so, it’s time to expand your field of vision.
