Search Around and Find Out: Google Is Quickly Becoming an AI Search Engine
If you’ve not been watching closely, understand that Google is fast becoming an artificial intelligence search engine.
You’ll find that an AI Overview appears at the top of the search results now, while AI Overviews are also populating within the ‘People Also Ask’ feature. You can also select a tab to the left of the standard search results to access ‘AI Mode’ – to use Google search, like a generative AI tool.
Now, keep your head on a swivel, because one day soon: the only way you’re going to be able to access Google search is via what is now called ‘AI Mode’.
This also has knock-on effects not just for your own searching, but for your ability to get found in search, by legal consumers. Now, content marketing becomes even more important to law firms, since quality content is becoming more heavily featured via Google’s AI features, by the day.
