No Contact Order: Website Contact Forms are a Black Hole If You Don't Do This One Thing

At this point, pretty much every website has contacts forms – or, should.

Now, in most cases, those contact forms are pretty open-ended, in the sense that, anyone wanting to contact your law firm, for any reason, could complete one.

In some cases, folks are fine to wait to hear from youBut, that’s not always the case.

Leads are going to want you to get back to them, more or less right away; and, if you don’t: they’re going to go try to find another attorney.

Referral sources may be more likely to call you, or email – but, those using a contact form, may exhibit the same level of impatience.

The idea, with both leads and referral sources, is to stop them from shopping around for other options, who are not you.

What’s one of the things that can make them stopThe simplest solution is to generate an automated response, that indicates the submission has been received, and that you’ll be in touch shortly.

Seems easy, rightIt isBut, very few law firms actually utilize this option.

Do it yourself, and the chances you miss out on new cases, decreases sharply.
